I’ve been endlessly interested in where people look to shed light on the questions we all seem to ask about life–and then what they– and we — do with what we find. We’ll be thinking about that on Sunday at 10:00 when we get together for church. I like that sound–‘for church’ more than ‘at church’. Seems more like life–verbing our way through it all together. Will be Bob Marley music for the morning, so listen for the beat. As Marley says, “We have to be someone, for we are a universe within ourselves’. When you arrive, there will be time for a couple of you to sign up for Reiki with Rev. Linda Suba, or you might want to join in Rev. Jayne Kercheval’s homeopathy class after church. I can almost smell the after church soup already.
And as you’re making your plans, Church Within has a play in the Fringe Festival— six performances, all at Theater on the Square, Stage II. You’ll be in and out in an hour (August 17, 9:00; 18, 3:00; 19, 6:00, 21, 7:30; 23, 6:00; and 25, 10:30pm). The play, written and directed by Jeffrey Barnes, is about G–D. It’s made up of some of those ‘endlessly interesting questions— and how folks live out of the answers they do/do not seem to find.
See you blessedly soon,
