“Dreamer of the Dream” will be the subject for A Course in Miracles class at The Church Within, 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013. We will explore the power of identifying with the dreaming mind rather than being a body that is a helpless victim of forces beyond its control. David Icke has written:
“The body-computer is full of software programs — behaviour traits, reactions, senses of self and the world — that are constantly editing and directing our perception of reality and kidding us that these programs are who we are. They give us a mask, a false sense of identity, which identifies self with the body-computer, and its actions and reactions, when often it is just the playing out of software programs in the genetic ‘hard-drive’.
When we free our lower minds from pre-conceived ideas and rigid belief, when we move our point of observation from ‘I am the body’ to ‘I am infinity’, we consciously connect with far higher levels of awareness and this can sweep away the genetic programs of limitation and reaction by pressing the delete button.”
And from the Course:
“You are the dreamer of the world of dreams. No other cause it has, nor ever will. . Nothing at all has happened but that you have put yourself to sleep, and dreamed a dream in which you were an alien to yourself, and but a part of someone else’s dream. The miracle does not awaken you, but merely shows you who the dreamer is. It teaches you there is a choice of dreams while you are still asleep, depending on the purpose of your dreaming.”
